Census 2020: Why It Matters and What You Can Do with Gary Locke

March 16 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Free – $5

“The twenty-fourth US Census takes place on April 1, 2020. Gary Locke, Former Governor and honorary chair of the King County Complete Count Committee, invites us to a discussion of what the Census means to us, to Seattle, and to King County. Locke draws from his experience overseeing the 2010 Census while serving as Commerce Secretary during the Obama administration. Join Locke to explore why the Census matters, and what you can do to make sure King County has a Complete Count.

Gary Locke is an American politician and diplomat who served as the 10th US Ambassador to China. He was previously the 21st Governor of Washington and served in the Obama administration as United States Secretary of Commerce.” – The Stranger
